The PETRA-E Network invites applications for the post of Administration and Communications Officer.
PETRA-E is a network for the education and training of literary translators. It continues the work of the PETRA-E project, which was funded 2014-2016 by Erasmus+ and resulted in the PETRA-E Framework of Reference for the Education and Training of Literary Translators (petra-educationframework.eu). This Framework (which is available in 11 languages) defines competences and levels in literary translating in order to improve the quality of literary translations and the visibility of literary translators in Europe. The Network aims to facilitate European collaboration and exchange for the education and training of literary translators. This is important in a small-scale educational field that has many possible language combinations. The Network has 30 members and is growing.
